The classic car collector world is just as liquidity-driven, intense, and volatile as the financial market, complete with speculators trying to stay ahead and figure out which models are likely to see their value rise in the nearest or farthest future. This is why exotic brands like Lamborghini and Ferrari have set rules regarding the resale of its cars, often requiring customers to sign a clause preventing them from reselling their cars within the first few years of ownership. Why? Ferrari wants to discourage people from buying their cars with the intent of flipping them for a profit.
